Learning and Earning is synonymous to each other and not a prerequisite any more

All education universities ,schools who were totally away from Technology are pushed to operate through Remote and explore all technologies to conduct their Day to Day classes but this is only a Temporary situation .

We all know a school or college is not a factory which produces human machines.School which focuses only in marks, Melting money in the name of extra curricular activities and exposing them to lot of technologies without actually knowing the purpose is not the right way to do .We need to strike a balance between traditional learning and technology influenced learning .

Now when there is no guarantee which industry will survive how long and what new industries are going to evolve learning and earning should go hand in hand from the age 14 till end of your life. Any educational institution should have a mix of making kids to go through Socializing with people and to taste success and Failure with open arms at the same time focus on getting a skill set which they are passionate about and get the right Technical tools around and coach them on that area to earn a Living which means a curriculum should be dynamic from person to person and not static like current situation.

so the biggest challenge going forward is to get this young generation socialize with people moving away from unwanted time killing games and divert their passion and help them earn while they learn by picking the right technology if required. The old model of investing all money to educate without earning till 22 and then reducing the pace of learning or in some cases completely stopping after you settle with a fancy job will become extinct.

Totally agree, kids waste too much time in apps like tiktok and other videos apps, streaming video, games. Not saying they should not have fun but should spend time in codeing and learning ( which again had gotten much easier, just hav to adapt to new form of learning). One thing that is going to be challenging in online world is learning social skills.
